The Hugh A Doyle Senior Citizens Center is open Monday through Friday to provide programs and services for area seniors. Having to make to most difficult decision on where to have my dad transferred for rehabilitation. Starting with reaching out by email and getting a response back immediately on a weekend. Sandy from admission was loving and understanding and the transition was easy and smooth. The nursing team from the respiratory floor are very nice and informative every time I call. My uncle could be dead and I wouldn’t even know. Always have the sweetest receptionists/ office staffed but nurses and supervisors are disgusting towards people. Due to pandemic there are no visits it is cruel punishment not to even charge the phone so they can communicate.
They also told me that they will keep me informed of anything moving forward regarding my father. My friend is a patient in the rehab section. The food is absolutely horrible she won’t eat it.

I waited hours for medication, the physical therapy was poorly organized and brief and the Social worker cancelled the VN aftercare without telling me or my doctor. I have since heard many similar stories about UH What concerns me most is that a number of residents appear to have dementia and they cannot protect themselves. A visitor told me she passed a sitting area where 3 patients were crying for help with no response. The state needs to do an investigation of United Hebrew.
